We had a wonderful day today! The weather was sunny. We arrived in Kawete to the cheers of children waving branches. This is a heart exploding and spiritual for all of us! It is so amazing! After the most gracious meeting, we went to the local Kawete town market. It is an open air market. They sell everything from animals to zippers. We purchased goats for gifting to the graduates from this past school year which ended in November. We purchased 31! We will have a celebration tomorrow where we will award the goats to the graduates. We will also award 2 Secondary School Scholarships to the 2 students who scored highest on the National Exam at CCLS-Uganda! We also were entertained by singing and dancing by the school choir and dance team. We unloaded the medical supplies and restocked the pharmacy for the Medical Clinic. We finally had to leave but fortunately will return tomorrow! As we drove back to the Sunset Hotel, thinking about our first day, we were blessed by a rainbow! It is so incredible to be back!
